Currently developing two courses for Professional Development on basic and advanced operations of the palmOne Treo 600 and 650 smart phones. (October, 2004 – present)

Guest Lecturer, ISDN Applications Extension course, UC Irvine

Gave a lecture titled ISDN and the Internet: Behind the Scenes at an ISP. (August, 1997)

Trainer, Cogent Software, Inc. (now PCNalert.com)

Gave Introduction to the Internet seminars to clients, describing the basic operation of email, web, FTP and USENET applications. (June, 1996 – April, 1997)

Engineering Teacher, Saturday Science Academy (SSA), Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD)

Obtained an Emergency California Single Subject (Mathematics) Teaching Credential in order to qualify as the instructor for the engineering class at the SSA. Taught fourth through seventh grade PUSD students how to solder, construct simple circuit experiments and understand basic electrical scientific principles. (September, 1994 – June, 1995)

Technical Teaching Assistant, SSA, PUSD

Volunteered as the technical consultant for the engineering course, answering questions and helping to define curriculum, for an after hours program targeting motivated at-risk fourth through seventh grade students. (September, 1992 – June, 1994)

Tutor Coordinator, Office of Academic Support and Instructional Services (OASIS), UC San Diego

Ran the EE/CS tutor department at OASIS, hiring, training and managing the staff of EE/CS tutors. (September, 1984 – June, 1985)

Honor Study Group Leader, OASIS

Conducted biweekly problem sessions for motivated students and gave exam review sessions for the Linear Circuit Analysis course. (September, 1982 – June, 1985)

Became the first electrical engineering and computer science tutor. (January, 1982 – June, 1984)
